Hard to say. We’ve been lead to believe it’s an instability from when characters and players merge. Refusing to use one soul for hosting the body. That said Bree seemed to have flipped this notion on the head by fusing so it’s hard to say. It’s likely that Seph being away with the earpiece made it difficult for the blue tooth to funtion. Which we know Imugi uses for grounding purposes. It’s feasible Drax was exacerbating the issue or maybe the underlying cause of instability in souls crossing over. But that’s seems to be a bit of a stretch. If I had to hazzard a guess it’s more to do with the bluetooth being back in range, since this seems to be the first page with it working since they parted. But that’s just a rough guess.
I think it was the greyscale of anger that imugi was using and switching back i.e bree has switch to black eyes when she becomes angry after “dying” and becomes bree after she is calmed.
Dagnabit i should have said when bree dies her grey scale of jen with blsck eyes and grey skin from”dying” and only becomes bree again when she is calmed downed and healed
I wonder if the eye change maybe her shift from just kill to instead help save a life? If so finally! Hopefully she also will stop her useless blood spill crusade thinking that’ll get her out of this world.
Go team, part 2! Warmheart and Markho, roast that slug! Interesting that the side-effect was not just on Sephni, but also on Imugi seemingly becoming more human again, and apparently (so I believe from a reliable source) now listening to K-Pop rather than just ‘white noise’. Before Jen’s era, hence, I guess, why Bree looked puzzled. But, a droll continuation of events, happening in just seconds in Delve ‘real time’ and weeks in our time, and the excellent quality of the art.
I never tire of seeing Bree or Paige in the Incentive Art page.
Before Jen’s era? Fairly sure it’s been stated that Jen came from the late 80’s early 90’s (still playing D&D the P&P way) and Imugi was either the Naughties or Tens with MMRPG’s, which is when K-Pop started to be more wide-spread internationally
Because, as pointed out below, the K-Pop song is apparently recent, 21st century, not Jen’s 80s/90s era. We know Imugi is from a later, post-2000AD period. Let the K-Pop experts (not me) speak up! 🙂
Interesting… So now instead of playing the old white noise the iPod is suddenly able to play music. I wonder if that means Jen’s watch would also be showing.
The strange thing is it wasn’t the emergence of Brian, Sephni or even the healing that seems to have done it but specifically the killing of the Draxxorel parasite.
Imugi noted the white noise stopped “the voices” which I took to be her fantasy character, so I wonder if we’re now seeing the fantasy character come through or if hearing the music is just pulling her out of that destructive, nhilist place of murder hobo.
Ohhhh wait a minute, is it a possibility that Draxx was USING the air buds for corrupting them ? So the voices would have been their consciousness ? What a good Twist !
Also also, dragons can fine-tune their ‘dragon flame’, as evidenced by Gleep in the ‘Myth Adventure’ series of books, so it’s possible she has ‘laser-focused’ the blast to only hit that toothy-uterus (with minimal contact with the blade)
Imugi’s eyes are looking more normal. Did healing Sephni drain the evil from both of theme?
Okay eyes are beginning to change… the black eyes a trace corruption from Drax?

Imugi was never corrupted, but maybe this is her finally assimilating into the Delve-verse, specially seeing how the airbuds are working again

She’s been angry a long time then 🙂
We may find out that she can use greyscale power at will

Zack Tilly, but you said “Before Jen’s era” when you meant “After Jen’s era”
Stand corrected. Time gets confusing. As it will for Brian very soon.

90% sure this is the song:

Bringing Imugi’s timeline at LEAST to 2020.
I’d say that is the other way around, she steping out of that destructive, nhilist place of murder hobo is making her hear the music
Now that is a Shrimp on the barbie.

Hmmm, that’s likely to screw up the tempering on that blade.
Markho can always find another sword of a slain palace guard, no problem. That’s where he got that one. The previous owner didn’t need it anymore.
also it’s an elven blade. Who says it is NOT done in an air hardening alloy? 😀
Also also, dragons can fine-tune their ‘dragon flame’, as evidenced by Gleep in the ‘Myth Adventure’ series of books, so it’s possible she has ‘laser-focused’ the blast to only hit that toothy-uterus (with minimal contact with the blade)
A quick dragon would have said, “Markho, flip it up.” and then fried it on the fly. But she’s young.
The body is young, butt Warmie is older than she looks (she was reborn after first encountering Sark and Breen)
How did I miss where they started wearing earbuds? When was this?
I just went all the way back. She wasn’t wearing earbuds at first. When did she and Sefni start wearing them?
Her ear buds were first mentioned here: https://delvecomic.com/comic/in-another-world-with-my-malfunctioning-electronics/
wow! How do y’all remember that far back?! Thanks!
In this case not so much remembering where, but just using search tools to my advantage.
Each comic has characters featured on it and looked up pages with Imugi. Hope it helps in your future searches.
