The Devourer is here and princess Sephi is making good (apparently) all the stereotypes about blond women. Is she?

On the spell: charm person, no doubt: “now give me all the money behind the counter”. Unseen servant would do but this one seems simpler and much more versatile:

    — What, agent, I’m pretty sure that one in the picture is not me.
    — Oh, you’re right sir, sorry about the confusion.
    — May I borrow your car?
    — Of course, sir.

Or, in the worst case scenario:
    — I didn’t do it, your highness, it was the attorney.

    :p

Charm Person was nerved in newer DnD editions.
The first only happens if the victim would give a good friend in times of need that money. and in 5e he would even know that you have made him do it. Same for the other examples. They might offer to get you a good lawyer tough.
This is more in the realm of suggestion, which is lv2…

Charm Person, the guy behind the counter might give you a little bit, a `friendly loan` of sorts that you’re never going to pay back, but not all the money … no one is that friendly. Also, try to remember that aristocrats and judges tend to have strong Will defenses … ?

Why do I get bad vibes from Kindall?

      That’s probably his personality.

Not sure that it’s the Devourer just yet…Green slime, that looks like Teal’s made her entrance.

I had a character that was hit with Green Slime once. Since the damage was preventing him from spellcasting, he had to trigger his staff to cast a Fireball…On himself. Fortunately, he had the HP to survive the Fireball.

Needless to say, he was pretty miffed about that.

Kindall has the look of who is this Vrekk that you speak of, or he is going to be planting that dagger in Sephni’s back.

Planting that dagger in Sephni’s back? What would be the point?

Really? I interpret that look as “Oh sh*t, you know who Vrekk is?”

    Teal!!!

On the subject of spells, Unseen Servant. May not have the people manipulation, but who needs that when you can have a little invisible friend mess with people in a myriad of ways!

    -Lights off!
    -Carry this for me.
    -Strip her!
-Poke him. (note will continue to do so until given a new order… >-])

I would totally go Find Familiar… As long as my Familiar was something bad ass. Like if my Familiar was a Hellhound, or a huge Black Cat… Sure. A Raven? Eh, not so much.

Lot of power in being a familiar too… to say an ancient wyrm or something.

Had a DM that gave me a baby dragon as a familiar … it grew up fast (for its kind), always one level behind mine … ?

Of the standard Familiars, Ravens make the best wilderness scouts. They can fly out, look around, come back, and report on what they found to the whole party, without the Mage having to translate.

OTOH, they have some trouble keeping their minds on the task at OOOH! SHINEY!

I think I’d get along great with a raven familiar since my mind does the same thing most of the time. I have to really concentrate on the task at hand to ignore the OOH SHINY!
