Thanks for the advice on the air quality situation. We are definitely looking forward to moving somewhere a little more wildernessy. In the meantime, we’ve cleaned the office a bit and started looking for a good HEPA filter.

For night-time use and most daytimes when working, I keep it on the lowest setting, and turn it up when wildfire smoke or protection from visitors’ airborne pathogens intrude.

Last week I mentioned the Hunter QuietFlo HEPA Air Filter. It is a floor model about the size of a shop vacuum. If you live in the USA you can find one at Home Depot or Lowes. Amazon would be another source.
Scaly is definitely a zombie. They should leave him chowing down on the troll’s body. Maybe that, along with all that essence of opel slime in him, might resurrect him and reconstitute his body. Or maybe it would result in a completely new dungeon horror.
Good to see you are serious about moving out of TX to less polluted parts, hopefully away from the madness also. Nice of the guys to recommend air filters, hope they will help in the meantime.

If you havent had someone recommend it already, consider making a Corsi-Rosenthal box for areas where you spend the most time or need extra air cleaning. You can google it, but it’s basically a cube with four air filters on the sides and a box fan on top. I’ve seen them used in various conventions and it seemed to do the job.

You might of put the pieces together before trying the goo. Still might not work, but a better chance of success.
I was in Costco a few days ago and noticed they were selling a 2-pack of small air purifiers for $100. They were good for bedroom-sized spaces. Might be helpful until you get situated. If I could afford it I’d get out of Texas myself, to someplace that isn’t ranked dead last in personal freedoms by the Cato Institute. Nevada was #1 in personal freedoms on their list.
