The style shift in panel 5 is fantastic. Like for the first time in his life, Brian’s making a real choice with full knowledge of what he’s doing. Love it.
Good shot! The kind only seen in movies… but great shot anyhow.

This is probably running heavily on dream logic.
At that range, the shot is… doable.
The tricky part, the one that is never shown in fiction, is how the fragments sent like sharpnell are in no way or manner under the control of the shooter’s aiming skill.
Just saying, do NOT try at home even if you ARE the crack shoot you BELIEVE you are ;-D
Good thing that in this place, how the fragments work is likely not directed by laws of physics.
The laws of physics (conservation of momentum) say. however, that they will **tend** to continue in the same direction as the bullet. Of course that’s modified by the structural strength of the target and whether it shatters or is malleable, etc. etc.
Still very definitely NOT under the control of the shooter.
also, nice the change in glasses.
In this place, Brian’s imagination determines everything, including who Brian himself is.
The difference in Brian’s appearance between the other panels and his last is an instance of, “Shit just got real”.

Goodbye to the immortality collar, which I’m guessing gave Draxx power over Sephni. Well done, Brian. Good thinking and good shooting. We don’t know what the collar was made of, which – guys, above – might have some effect on the bits flying off, maybe?? Otherwise, it’s only a fantasy comic! I’m also thinking that the DM hits the nail on the head, fat ugly guy thrives on blood. Was he deliberately tainting Brian in panel one?
Interesting change of specs in panel five….Why? But great piece of art….And of Sephni in panel six. Free at last! Will that have an effect in the Bree/Imugi world?
