The High Elf palace looks impressive, compared to what was left of the Wood Elf palace, but seems to be rather lacking in staff. At least the royal wardrobes were obviously well-stocked.
I’m thinking – i may be wrong – that Brian and Imugi might stay over in the joint roles of Sephni’s chief advisor and bodyguard.
All three of them knew what the Devourer could do – it’s there right in the name. Both Capria and Bree did all they could to prevent it, each of them on their own style.

Capria (the assassin queen – or the closest thing to it), being very likely fully aware that Sephni was possesed, and very likely thinking there was no way to revert such possesion, send her people to kill the Devourer, even if it was in Sephni’s body. Plainly she thought “my friend is already dead” as if it had been a zombi bite.
Which is very likely the reason Bree only want to give her a genital kick instead of doing to her the assorted painful and lethall things that she has threathened people who threathened Sephni with. Bree was willing to let her sister kill her if she became zombified, remember?
Exactly. Capria actually send a whole lot of her people to deal with those who kidnapped her friend (ironically, after being falsely accused of being the culprit). Comics 42 to 45. And when she discovered it had been Kindall (comic 116), she took it as something personal (comics 171 to 173).
SEPHNI was the one after the stoning. And on re-reading, since on her words she was temporally “free from the madness” (thanks to Imugi), I strongly suspect it was HER OWN way of trying to stop the Devourer from ever using her as a portal. It didn’t work, but she TRIED. Like Capria and Bree.

IDK: it was all very confusing. This comic had a lot of convolutions that were sometimes very hard to follow. You two are probably right, I guess.
Kindall being the huge dick that sold EVERYONE to dark gods to reach power is kind of a big point in the comic’s overall plot
