was just about to say even if she bubbled herself the impact from the timber would still do damage to her and also we dont know if the bubble spell is a timed spell or as long as caster is concentrating and awake. But judging from the head wound i’d have say it its when she awake so timber hit her on the head and knocked her out
How heavy can an orc lift in his prime? Must be in the D&D manual somewhere…
I’ll guess that 50% more than a human, so that’s like 75kg at most, unless it’s a Perurena kind of superman.
Anyway, per the laws of physics it doesn’t matter how heavy the falling object is, what matters is from how far up it falls (how much acceleration gains), as proven by Galilleo on Earth and some astronaut* guy on the Moon.
And sure: a heavy object will still crush you without the bubble but that’s because Earth is accelerating upwards against the arrow of time (Einstein dixit).

*Almost typed “austronaut”, which is some other kind of researcher, Elcano style, one who sails the South. I wonder why they call them “astronauts” when the Moon is not any star at all, they should be “lunanauts” or “selenenauts”, right?
Cosmos = order (old idea about all it being perfectly ordered as per geocentric spheres and epicycles, not at all the real deal). Real Universe = Chaos. They should have been called “chaonauts”, really.
In Atheist Paradise it will have to be, the Island of the Blessed if I can make it to its lowest ranks. We know that at least Plato is not there, sadly, as I would want to discuss Atlantis with him, or so claimed Lucian in the first sci-fi novel ever: “A True Story”.
Great fan of Sagan myself, I basically grew up with his series, but even him would know and admit that “cosmos” means “order” and that it is a legacy word, when applying to the Universe, from ancient times, not necessarily nor probably describing Reality in terms of modern science, notably if we include Chaos Theory, which applies to all kind of settings and on which many practical sciences from electronics to weather prediction depend, almost as much as they do on General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics and pure maths.
Well this isn’t going to look good on her record… Trying hard to be an elite, but maybe didn’t think this through.
She survived better than the last Red Fang who tried that move
This delver is broken. Bring another one.
XD
I was hoping for a softer, more bubbly, landing. Seems that she forgot to activate the laser field against falling debris.
Even if she was still bubbled when she landed, that beam is still heavy

That beam doesn’t have to fall far to have an impact on a slight elf, plus, she was last seen falling head first
Just like the Soviets were called cosmonauts, they were exploring all of space, which just happens to include… the moon

Carl Sagan might want to have a word with you…

That may have been what it meant 2500 years ago (when they didn’t even know about other planets), but that’s not what it means now
As for Atlantis: it’s still there, in the Mediterranean, right where it always was
Andrew, you forgot to announce new Vote picture
By the way, poor Marcho. Such panic…
Oops! Thanks for the catch!
Here being where?
Does it matter?
Yes, it does if you want to get out! Doh!
No, ‘here’ doesn’t matter so much as wanting to go ‘somewhere’
‘Here’ would only matter if they wanted to return
Remind me not to go to Hampton Court Maze with you, Guesticules!
If someone dropped you blindfolded into the middle of HCM, would you just sit there demanding to know where you were? Or just work on getting out?
Again, knowing where you are only matters if you want to return, not in getting away: simply pick a direction and go in it
Deep in the chasm they call The Breach, with no way of going back upwards, only inwards into Level 99?
Either Markho has been working out or he’s turned into the incredible Hulk. He is a lot more muscular now.
He’s had ten years of trying to impress bunny-girls
oops, I had forgotten that it had been that long.
